About Us:
PUHJ is the official journal of the Faculty of Medical and Allied Sciences at Purbanchal University, Nepal, and has been a beacon of knowledge since its inception in 2020 AD. As a triannual, indexed, and peer-reviewed international health science journal, we are committed to advancing healthcare through evidence-based practices.

Mission:
Our mission is to empower researchers and catalyze research activities by providing unwavering support to fellow researchers. Through this commitment, we aim to foster the development of evidence-based healthcare practices, ultimately improving patient care. We achieve this by publishing top-notch research articles in the biomedical sciences.

Objectives:

Article Types:
PUHJ welcomes a diverse range of articles, including Original Research Articles (ORA), Case Reports (CR), Case Series (CS), Review Articles (RA), Medical Education (ME), Editorial (E), Viewpoint (VP), Letter to the Editor (LE), Commentary (C), Pilot Study (PS), and Clinical Trial (CT). We encourage scientific contributions that go beyond these categories. Please note that, occasionally, about 25% of manuscripts may be declined by our editors before undergoing formal peer review.

APC Policy:
Good news! We do not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) for publishing your valuable work. However, please be aware that special issues related to conference proceedings may have specific charges in line with our publisher's decision.

Copyright Policy:
Authors at PUHJ retain their copyright while granting us the right of first publication. This means your work can be shared by others, provided they give due acknowledgment to your authorship and initial publication in our journal. We adhere to the Creative Commons Attribution License CC-BY 4.0.

Plagiarism Policy:
We uphold the highest ethical standards, and plagiarism is strictly prohibited. We strongly recommend using available plagiarism software to check your manuscript before submission, and if necessary, provide a report to the journal.

Article Retraction Policy:
In cases of duplication, falsification, or fabrication, PUHJ will retract published articles and report the issues to the relevant governing bodies.
