Operation Theatre Starts at PUTH

Purbanchal University Teaching Hospital (PUTH) in Gothgaun, Sundarharaicha–Morang, has officially started surgical services with the launch of its newly constructed operation theatre and surgical ward.
A successful shoulder surgery was performed on the first day on a 28-year-old male by a team led by orthopedic surgeon and Assistant Professor Dr. Robin Shrestha, along with Assistant Professor (Orthopedics) Dr. Dhiraj Singh and Assistant Professor (anesthesiology) Dr. Bikash Adhikari.
During a pre-launch session, Dr. Shailesh Mani Pokharel, Chair of the Hospital Management Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and Hospital Director Prof. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Giri introduced the new facilities. The program was attended by hospital staff, local residents, and members of the PUTH Management Committee, including Ms. Dipty Subba, Director of PU School of Health Sciences.
